All in all, not a bad week. Oleg was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and is doing great!
The baptism was on Saturday, and he was baptized by Devin, one of the BYU students here on a summer internship. The service went great, and the next day he received the gift of the Holy Ghost.
This week we also had two big projects. We were asked to go repaint the classrooms in an autistic school, "Development", and also to finish clearing our church buildings of any materials the church had produced that were not correctly labeled. We threw out about 16 massive black trash bags of old manuals, Liahonas, and so forth. Anything to live the law of the land, right?
Saturday transfer calls came in. Elder Miller and I are staying together! Almost everything else in the mission changed. A lot of people went home this transfer, so we closed a zone and reorganized all the districts in the mission. We now have a few traveling companionships. It is going to be a whole new mission.
Our companionship still has lots of work to do and we are keeping plenty busy. But we are trying to stretch our faith and increase the size of our teaching pool. We'll let you know how that goes.
