This week::
This week was crazy-we had exchanges, zone conference, and interviews with President, all in Voronezh. Monday we took the 8 hour train down, and crashed at the Zone Leader's apartment. Tuesday I had my exchange with Elder Duvall, and Wednesday we had Zone Conference and interviews. We capped off the night of zone conference with deep-fried oreos and floats.
Zone Conference was very much focused on going back to the basics. As a mission, we are all going back through the 12 week training program. It's going to help us be more effective teachers, and focus more on testifying of the Savior.
Thursday we came back to Moscow.
By far the spiritual highlight of the week was an experience we had with an inactive member. We asked our bishop who he would like us to work with, and he gave us the name of Vlada, a member with two little girls and a non-member husband. The next night we stopped by, and she was home! It was a miracle. She said she had just come from her country house to feed their cat quickly, and literally was there for only 20 minutes. In that time, she asked for a blessing, and told us she would come to church the next day. Not only did she come, but she got up and bore testimony!
It was a reminder to us that the Lord really does guide our actions.
Oleg, our investigator, has been progressing really quickly. He still fears setting a baptismal date, but we'd like to see him baptized before he goes home for the rest of the summer. Please pray for him!
Продолжайте на праведном пути!
С любовью
